This was the view I had on May 19th at Clearwater Lodge. The owners of the lodge were very kind and allowed me to paint from the dock. Clearwater Lake is an entry point to some of the most amazing wilderness the BWCA has to offer. To me, the palisades look like the actual gateway one paddles by when beginning their adventure.
