This vast overlook is seen from the Border Route Trail at Mountain Lake. The topography surrounding Mountain Lake is astonishing. The cliffs to the south and the gradual slopes to the north offer some amazing views from multiple overlooks. This image captures the peninsula at the west end of the lake and also shows a glimpse of Watap Lake in the distance. It is a lake that may be better to see on foot rather than in a canoe.
